Parker, who stands 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in), competed as one of the finalists in her island's national beauty pageant Miss Turks and Caicos 2011, held on June 8, 2011 at the Regent Palms Hotel in Grace Bay, gaining the right to represent her island in Miss Universe 2011.
